Return & Refund Policy

At Shower Buddy, we are committed to providing high-quality products that improve your showering experience. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

Returns Eligibility

You may return a product if:

  • The item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging
  • The return is requested within 7 days of delivery
  • Proof of purchase (invoice or order number) is provided

We do not accept returns for:

  • Used or installed shower filters or cartridges
  • Products damaged due to incorrect installation or misuse
  • Clearance or promotional items (unless defective)

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a product that is defective or damaged on arrival, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

We will offer:

  • A replacement, or
  • A full refund, depending on product availability
  • Please include clear photos or videos showing the defect when contacting us.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 working days
  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the item was faulty or incorrect

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are:

  • Defective
  • Damaged
  • Incorrectly supplied
  • If you need an exchange, contact us at info@showerbuddy.co.za before returning the item.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the product is faulty or incorrect.

  • We recommend using a trackable courier service
  • Shower Buddy is not responsible for lost return parcels

Non-Returnable Items:

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned once opened:

  • Shower filter cartridges
  • Shower heads
  • Any product that comes into direct contact with water after installation

Consumer Protection Act (CPA)

This policy is aligned with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA). Customers retain all rights provided under the CPA, including the right to return defective goods within 6 months of purchase.
